Job Description
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
· Manufacture, assemble, and install custom cabinetry, including kitchens, wardrobes, and storage solutions
· Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to produce accurate joinery
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as timber, laminates, and engineered boards
· Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
· Install cabinetry on-site, ensuring proper alignment, fitting, and finishing
· Apply finishes, trims, and hardware including hinges, handles, and fittings
· Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards
· Liaise with supervisors, installers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion· Maintain a clean and safe workshop and worksite environment

On behalf of Award Kitchens, we are excited to invite applications for a passionate and skilled full-time Cabinet Maker to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and installation of custom cabinetry and joinery, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and client expectations.

Skill & Experience
Qualifications and Skills:
· Trade qualification in Cabinet Making/Joinery (e.g. Certificate III or equivalent) or three years of work experience in substitution
· Strong ability to read plans, produce accurate work, and problem-solve on-site.
· Confident with hardware fit-off and delivering high-quality finishes.
· Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience working with a variety of materials including solid timber and laminates.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $76,000 – $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
