Job Description

Ashton College seeks a Diesel Mechanic with expertise in the service and repair of diesel engines, mobile plant, and workshop management to join the college’s workshop team at Hallam Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

You are a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience, exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills, strong natural mechanical aptitude, and unwavering commitment to safety and quality standards.
You have experience in building up a team and setting up a commercial workshop.
You take pride not only in your work but also in maintaining an organised work environment.
Your personal attributes include being self-motivated and capable of working independently, whilst also working well in a team setting.
You actively look for opportunities to improve processes and contribute to efficient site operations.
