This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves greeting guests with a smile, crafting drinks, keeping the front humming, and helping deliver that special “come hungry, leave happy” experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with genuine warmth and a friendly smile
Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations to make every visit special
Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages, including silky smooth coffees, teas, and specialty drinks
Assist with food service – delivering dishes to tables and ensuring beautiful presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the front-of-house, bar area, beverage stations, and courtyard
Handle cash/card transactions with accuracy and care
Help with opening/closing duties, setup, breakdown, and anything needed to keep things smooth
Skill & Experience
Previous hospitality front-of-house experience (café, bistro, or similar) preferred
Solid proficiency in espresso-based beverages and coffee preparation
Bar and cocktail experience highly regarded (bonus if you can mix up a cracking drink or pour with flair – we’d love to build on that!)
Basic knowledge of wine varieties and eagerness to learn more about local drops
Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced, busy environment
Excellent communication and customer service – you thrive on making people feel at home
Availability for one or two nights a week (Thu-Sat dinner shifts) in addition to regular full-time hours
