Job Description

The Role:

5+ years of Data Engineer/ETL experience

Multiple positions for permanent role
Full Time position
Sydney/Melbourne/Perth

Remuneration:

85,000 – 160,000 AUD for permanent positions for various experience levels

Key Responsibilities

Job Description:

5+ years’ experience in design, development and maintenance of ETL applications
Experience on projects using tools like PL/SQL, INFORMATICA, TOAD, PUTTY
Experience using tools like Winscp, Ab-Initio, Unix (with Shell Programming), Python, Oracle, Teradata
Analyzing User Requirements and translating into database requirements
Preparing Technical Design & Development of Database documents and components such as database packages and procedures
Designing ETL complex mappings, Logics and workflows
Building Dev/QA ETL runs using an informatica and making corrections
Experience with DevOps tools like Bit Bucket, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence etc for CICD implementation/automation
Expertise in data management/engineering tools for Data discovery & classification
Experience working on data migration projects
Experience Data Warehousing, Data Lake concepts, Unix scripting
Reporting Tools – PowerBI, Tableau, ClikSense, QuickSight
Experience doing Agile/Scrum planning
Assist in the estimation of stories in the backlog
Participate in discussions with client for requirement understanding, documentation and BRD creation
Familiar with project development life cycle with deployment experience
