Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of Indian sweets, snacks, and vegetarian dishes while ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Season, marinate, and cook food items in line with established recipes to maintain high standards of flavour, texture, and appearance.
Monitor and control cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers to ensure proper temperatures and efficient food preparation.
Support the Chef in preparing popular and high-demand menu items, including traditional sweets, street food, and Punjabi-style curries.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety standards, including effective stock rotation practices.
Maintain strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times in the kitchen.
Assist with plating, portioning, and timely preparation of dishes during busy service periods while maintaining presentation standards.

Skill & Experience

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery along with at least one year of relevant hands-on experience in a similar role is required to be considered for this position.
