Job Description

The Agricultural Workshop Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of Pellenc’s agricultural equipment. This role is key to ensuring our customers’ equipment operates efficiently and reliably. You will work closely with the After-Sales team to provide high-quality technical support and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on viticulture and agriculture equipment (e.g., harvesters, pruners, trimmers).
  • Diagnose technical issues and carry out effective repairs.
  • Test and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
  • Assist with warranty claims and after-sales service requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage workload during busy periods, including harvest season.
  • Participate in on-call rotations (astreinte) during peak seasons.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment through ongoing training.

Skill & Experience

  • Previous experience in repairing or maintaining agricultural or mechanical equipment is a plus, but not required – full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Mechanical interest and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and workshop equipment is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and priorities, especially during peak periods like harvest season.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Relevant technical certification (e.g., Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology) is a plus, but not mandatory.
