Job Description

Location: Truganina, Victoria 3029

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient production performance, maintaining high-quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading the production team to achieve operational goals.

Reporting directly to the Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of production operations
Manage engineering and maintenance activities across the site
Maintain accurate production records in line with business requirements
Lead and supervise all production staff, including the Quality Manager
Take responsibility and accountability for Site OH&S compliance and safety culture
Coordinate staff daily according to production requirements
Monitor and improve overall production efficiency
Prepare and report on daily production outputs and efficiencies
Identify and implement machinery and process improvements to increase efficiency
Build, train, and develop the production team
Assist with maintaining equipment and machinery as required
Oversee quality control and blending operations
Provide monthly operational and production performance reports to the business

Skill & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience within manufacturing or production environments
Understanding of OH&S requirements and compliance
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Mechanical aptitude and experience working with machinery/equipment
Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent communication and reporting skills
