Job Description

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our organisation on a full-time permanent basis.

The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for delivering operational and advisory human resource support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training coordination and HR administration functions. The role works closely with management to support effective workforce practices and ensure compliance with Australian workplace legislation and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional HR advice and support to management and employees on workplace matters;
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes;
  • Assist with employee relations matters including grievances, investigations and disciplinary processes;
  • Support performance management, probation reviews and employee development processes;
  • Develop, review and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment documentation;
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems;
  • Coordinate staff inductions, training and professional development activities;
  • Assist with workplace compliance, reporting obligations and HR administration;
  • Support implementation of HR initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.

Skill & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a Human Resources Advisor or similar role;
  • Sound understanding of Fair Work legislation, National Employment Standards and HR best practices;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally;
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
