As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Spray Painter to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Job Description

You will be responsible for applying paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry standards. Your role will also involve preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and working in collaboration with the team to deliver results that meet customer expectations.

The successful applicant will be confident in colour matching, have a keen eye for detail and previous experience in a busy paint shop.

You should be able to work unsupervised to a high standard and be respectful of other members in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mask vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring smooth and clean surfaces.

  • Mix, match, and apply paints to vehicles using the latest techniques and equipment.

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality.

  • Perform paint touch-ups and minor repairs as needed.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Work closely with other team members to meet insurer deadlines and customer expectations.

  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of spray booths and painting equipment

Skill & Experience

The successful applicants will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter in the automotive industry.

  • Strong knowledge of paint materials, mixing, and application techniques.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.

  • Ability to work efficiently.

  • Experience in collision repair is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
