Cook/ Kitchen Hand

Position 1: Cook

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the menu and recipes
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
• Assist with food prep and daily kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations at all times
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team

Position 2: Kitchen Hand

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation (cutting, cleaning, prepping ingredients)
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors and storage
• Assist cooks during service when needed
• Take out rubbish and ensure waste is disposed of correctly
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Support the kitchen team with general duties
