Job Description

Hello! Welcome to Right On Care!

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a young woman living in North Bondi.

This role requires approximately 7 to 10 hours of weekly support and is ideal for someone who is patient, emotinally intelligement and experienced in supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities.

Ideal Candidate

– Minimal 6 months experience supporting individuals with psychoscial or mental health disabilities

– Is calm, patient, and empathetic

– Understands trauma-informed care

– Is confident supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or fluctuating mental health

– Can encourage independence while providing the right level of support

– Is reliable and consistent

We are currently seeking multiple Support Workers for this role. While the primary support will take place in North Bondi, we welcome applicants who are flexible and open to travelling to South Western Sydney suburbs for additional shifts.

Work Location: In person at Bondi and Narellan (near Campbelltown)

Expected Start Date: 20/03/2026

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • facilitating safe access to the community for activities, medical appointments and daily tasks
  • light domestic duties
  • social interaction
  • maintaining professional boundaries
  • documenting progress notes after every shift detailing support/activities undertaken, how the participant has been progressing with NDIS goals, any challenges with meeting goals, any achievements with meeting goals, any follow up information and feedback

Skill & Experience

Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Childrens Check (preferred)
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Valid Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle (comprehensive car insurance)
