Responsibilities: 

• Deliver effective and efficient floor finishing works across sites, meeting company timeframes, budgets and quality standards. 

• Measure site areas, review drawings and specifications to calculate material requirements, evaluate equipment needs, assess surface conditions, and determine estimated timeframes for work completion. 

• General onsite cleaning using industrial vacuums, high-pressure equipment and heavy-duty chemicals as required, including moving furniture or performing light cleaning tasks to access areas. 

• Floor and surface preparation including grinding, sanding and mechanical methods to remove existing coatings or coverings and ready surfaces for floor finishing applications. 

• Repair and patch concrete surfaces including crack repairs, remedial works and levelling to restore surface integrity. 

• Mix and apply resin flooring systems including epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic, MMA and cementitious products, installing micro-toppings and self-levelling systems in accordance with project requirements. 

• Execute precision coving and edge detailing to achieve seamless transitions and required standards. 

• Polish concrete floors and surfaces to specified finishes and sheen levels, including buffing to enhance quality and final appearance. 

• Apply densifiers, sealers, and hardening compounds to enhance a variety of surfaces strength, durability, and finish. 

• Install and seal stone and concrete benchtop and counter surfaces as required to provide durable and professionally finished surfaces. 

• Conduct final quality checks to ensure finish, durability, and compliance with specifications. 

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including pre-starts, SWMS, day dockets, material usage records, and client signoffs. 

• Maintain tools, plant and equipment in clean and operational condition and report maintenance issues promptly.
