Position Criteria

We’re seeking experienced and skilled Motor Mechanics with at least three years of relevant experience. In this role, you will:

-Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to assess vehicle issues.

-Complete repairs and maintenance, including engine work, brake servicing, and electrical troubleshooting.

-Use diagnostic equipment to detect and solve complex mechanical problems.

-Follow manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

-Maintain detailed records of service and repair work.

-Stay informed on the latest automotive technologies and techniques.

-Communicate clearly with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

-Keep your workspace safe, clean, and well-organized.

-Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to meet deadlines.

-Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

-Assist in mentoring apprentices and supporting junior technicians.

-Liaise with parts suppliers to ensure correct components are sourced.

-Work collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

-Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.

-Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

-Strong attention to detail and solid time management skills.

-A proactive and professional attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

-Experience in diagnosing engine and electrical faults is desirable.

-Current driver’s licence.
