Job Description

Elite Education Institute is an established higher education institute since 2013 and offering Bachelor of Business (Accounting, Management, and Public Relations) and Bachelor of Information Technology (Software Development) programs and Master programs in Business (Accounting, Business Administration) and Information System.

Sessional Lecturer positions in Information Technology /Systems (Software Development, Networking, Information System) (Both undergraduate and postgraduate) are available at the Sydney campus.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality lecturing/tutoring to students in accordance with our curricula
Maintain innovative teaching practices that contribute to an environment where students are encouraged to be actively engaged in learning
Assisting the Course Coordinator and academic administrator in developing assessments and updating learning resources
Create an engaging learning environment for students to meet learning outcomes and successfully complete their assessment tasks
Identify “students at risk” and provide the required support.
Demonstrated ability to engage in research and scholarship through conference participation and publication.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Skill & Experience

Qualifications & Experience

A minimum Master Degree in the broad field of Information Technology for the undergraduate studies; a PhD degree for the postgraduate courses
Relevant academic and/or industry work experience of a minimum of 2 years;
Demonstrated excellence in teaching practice and be passionate in teaching;
Be good at interaction with students, especially with international students;
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, Student Learning Ssytem (e.g., Moodle) and Zoom.
Demonstrate relevant teaching experience at an Australian University or higher education programs (Bachelor and Master level) in a Private Higher Education Institution.
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
Evidence of engaging in scholarship of teaching and learning practice
