Job Description

Tipsy Cow Steak House is seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This role reports directly to the Head Chef and is integral to maintaining the high standards of quality, execution, and professionalism that define our steakhouse experience.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined culinary professional with a minimum of two years of leadership experience, a deep understanding of steakhouse cuisine, and a commitment to excellence in both food and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head Chef in the management of kitchen operations
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff in a professional kitchen environment
  • Oversee food preparation and service in accordance with established standards
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management
  • Promote a culture of discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Skill & Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Sous Chef or comparable leadership role
  • Steakhouse or high-volume, upscale dining experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of meat preparation, grilling techniques, and temperature control
  • Proven leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
