With this, we are excited to announce that we have an open position for a government/commercial tenders estimator to join the growing team.

Join us as a Sales Support Specialist for the Government Service Division where you will be creating and completing bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Maintaining and improving the balance between all HEQS units and customers that are present in responsibility.

Reporting to the Sales Manger and this position will be based in Smithfield, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive bids, estimates, and quotations based on technical and commercial requirements
• Manage proposal preparation including pricing, cost analysis, and project requirements
• Coordinate external services such as translations and governmental approvals
• Maintain and archive bid documentation while monitoring tender status and outcomes
• Identify potential risks and participate in risk review processes in compliance with HEQS policy
• Gather technical and cost information required for proposal preparation
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide technical support during meetings
• Evaluate supplier offers and coordinate with Supply Chain Management and subcontractors

Skill & Experience

  • University degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of good experience in preparing and completing quotes and tenders to meet customer specifications
  • Strong hold on communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Veterans encouraged to apply
