Job Description

Quantum is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in a newly created
role. This position offers significant scope to shape Quantum’s technology initiatives while
collaborating closely with diverse project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, consult, analyse and evaluate system program needs for Quantum’s business processes and technical projects.
  • Identify limitations and deficiencies in existing systems, processes, procedures, and methods; make recommendations for improvement.
  • Test, debug, diagnose, and correct errors and faults in application programming languages following established protocols, guidelines, and quality standards
  • Write and maintain program code to meet system requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Develop, update, and maintain technical program documentation, end-user manuals, and operational procedures.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and technical expertise for software design, including financial analysis and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades to management.
  • Participate as a proactive member of the Quantum team, collaborating with engineers and project managers on ongoing development work.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience in software development, problem-solving, and technical documentation.
