Last updated: 15 September 2026

Welcome to Jobb.com.au. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, job board, candidate profiles, employer and company profiles, job listings, job advertising services, application features, messaging features and any other services offered through Jobb.com.au.

By accessing or using Jobb.com.au, creating an account, purchasing a job posting plan, posting a job, applying for a job, creating a candidate or company profile, contacting another user or otherwise using our platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use Jobb.com.au.

1. About Jobb.com.au

Jobb.com.au is operated by Jobb.com.au, ABN 46 972 642 977.

Jobb.com.au is not a recruitment agency, labour-hire provider, employer, migration agent, legal adviser, payroll provider or employment adviser. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, candidate suitability, employer suitability, visa eligibility, work rights, salary, wages, workplace conditions or the outcome of any application or recruitment process.

2. Australia Only

Jobb.com.au is intended primarily for employment opportunities in Australia. Employers must only post genuine, lawful employment opportunities relevant to Australia unless Jobb.com.au expressly permits otherwise.

Candidates are responsible for ensuring they hold any work rights, qualifications, licences, registrations, permits or visas required for a role they apply for.

3. Eligibility to Use the Website

You may use Jobb.com.au as a candidate, employer, recruiter, recruitment agency or other authorised user. By using the website, you confirm that information you provide is true, accurate, current and not misleading.

You must not use Jobb.com.au if you are prohibited from doing so by law, if you intend to misuse the platform, or if we have previously suspended, restricted or terminated your access.

4. User Accounts and Profiles

Users may create candidate profiles, company profiles, employer accounts, recruiter accounts or other permitted accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login details and for activity occurring through your account.

You must not provide false information, impersonate another person or business, misrepresent your authority to act for a company, or create misleading profiles.

You must promptly notify us at hi@jobb.com.au if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

Jobb.com.au may, to the extent permitted by law, approve, reject, edit, moderate, suspend, restrict or remove profiles, listings, applications, messages, content or account access where reasonably necessary to operate or protect the platform, enforce these Terms, comply with law or protect users.

5. Job Listings

Employers, recruiters and agencies are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of job listings submitted to Jobb.com.au.

Job listings must represent genuine employment opportunities and must not be false, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, offensive, fraudulent or deceptive. Listings must not promote illegal work, unlawful unpaid work, misleading income claims, scams, pyramid schemes, unlawful commission-only arrangements, adult services or any opportunity that breaches Australian law.

Employers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with applicable employment, workplace, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, wage, award, superannuation and work-right laws and obligations.

Jobb.com.au does not verify every job listing and does not guarantee that a listing is accurate, lawful, current, available, suitable or safe. We may reject, suspend, edit or remove a listing that breaches these Terms, applicable law or our platform requirements.

6. Applications

Employers may allow candidates to apply through Jobb.com.au or direct candidates to an employer website, email address, applicant tracking system or other third-party platform.

Where a candidate applies through Jobb.com.au, their application information, resume/CV, profile information, contact details and other relevant information may be provided to the applicable employer, recruiter or agency for recruitment purposes.

External websites and third-party application systems are not controlled by Jobb.com.au. We are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, application processes or employment outcomes.

7. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for ensuring information in their profile, resume/CV, applications, qualifications, licences, work history and communications is accurate, current and not misleading.

Candidates must not submit false documents, false qualifications, misleading work experience, incorrect work-right information or other information likely to mislead an employer or recruiter.

Candidates are responsible for assessing the suitability and legitimacy of an opportunity, employer, recruiter or agency before applying, attending an interview, accepting employment or providing information outside Jobb.com.au.

8. Employer, Recruiter and Agency Responsibilities

Employers, recruiters and agencies must use Jobb.com.au lawfully and professionally and only for genuine employment and recruitment-related purposes.

They must not misuse candidate information, contact candidates for unrelated marketing, send spam, harvest or scrape personal information, create fake listings, misrepresent job opportunities or use candidate information for purposes unrelated to legitimate recruitment.

An employer, recruiter or agency receiving candidate information through Jobb.com.au is responsible for handling that information lawfully, securely and in accordance with applicable privacy, employment and anti-discrimination laws.

9. Messaging and Direct Contact

Jobb.com.au may allow users to contact each other through messaging, profile contact features, email links or other communication tools.

You must not use communication features for spam, scams, harassment, threats, abusive or discriminatory content, misleading offers, unrelated marketing or unsolicited promotions.

Jobb.com.au is not responsible for statements, promises, offers, communications or conduct of candidates, employers, recruiters, agencies or other users except to the extent required by law.

10. No Guarantee of Employment or Recruitment Outcome

Jobb.com.au does not guarantee that a candidate will receive applications responses, interviews, job offers, employment, payment, sponsorship, visa assistance or any other employment outcome.

Jobb.com.au does not guarantee that an employer will receive a particular number or quality of views, applications, candidates, interviews or hires.

Purchasing a job posting plan purchases advertising and platform access only. It does not guarantee any particular recruitment result.

Employment, interviews, contracts, salary negotiations, reference checks, background checks, job offers, onboarding and workplace arrangements are matters between the candidate and the relevant employer, recruiter or agency.

11. Paid Job Posting Plans

Employers, recruiters and agencies may purchase paid job posting plans from Jobb.com.au. The available plans, prices, number of job posting credits, listing periods and other inclusions are displayed on Jobb.com.au before purchase.

Our current employer plans may include:

  • 1 Job Listing: one job posting with a listing period of up to 30 days;
  • 3 Job Pack: up to three job postings, with each job having a listing period of up to 45 days; and
  • 10 Job Pack: up to ten job postings, with each job having a listing period of up to 60 days.

The listing period for a job generally begins when that job is published or activated on Jobb.com.au.

A multi-job plan provides the number of job posting credits stated at the time of purchase. Each published job ordinarily consumes one available job posting credit.

The advertised listing duration applies separately to each job submitted using the applicable plan. Any separate expiry or usage condition that applies to unused credits will be disclosed before purchase.

Employers may close, withdraw or remove a job before the end of its listing period. Closing or removing a job early does not automatically restore or refund the job posting credit that was used.

Job listing credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between unrelated accounts unless Jobb.com.au agrees otherwise, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Jobb.com.au may introduce, modify or discontinue job posting plans, promotional products, featured listings, subscriptions or other paid services. Any change to pricing or inclusions will apply prospectively and will not reduce rights attached to a purchase already completed, except where otherwise agreed or required by law.

12. Prices, Payments and Currency

All prices displayed by Jobb.com.au are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless expressly stated otherwise.

Jobb.com.au is not currently registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST). GST is therefore not separately added to our listed prices at this time.

If our GST registration status changes, we may update the tax treatment and pricing of future purchases as required by law. Any applicable taxes will be disclosed before the relevant purchase.

Payments for paid Jobb.com.au services may be processed securely by third-party payment providers including Stripe. Jobb.com.au does not require users to provide card details directly to us where payment information is collected through the payment provider's secure payment infrastructure.

You authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you select for the amount shown at checkout.

A paid plan is not considered successfully purchased until the payment has been authorised or completed and our system records the order as paid or approved.

If a payment fails, is declined, reversed, disputed or cancelled, we may withhold, suspend or cancel the corresponding paid service or unused credits to the extent permitted by law.

13. Refunds and Cancellations

We want our refund policy to be clear and fair.

If you purchase a paid job posting plan and change your mind, you may request cancellation and a full refund within seven (7) days of purchase provided that you have not used any job posting credit from that plan.

Once a job posting credit has been used to submit or publish a job, we do not ordinarily provide a change-of-mind refund for that used credit or the service already supplied.

For multi-job packs, where some credits have been used and others remain unused, any discretionary refund request will be considered based on the circumstances, the services already supplied and any applicable legal obligations. We are not required to provide a change-of-mind refund unless our published policy or applicable law provides otherwise.

Failure to receive a particular number of views, applications, interviews or hires does not by itself entitle an employer to a refund because Jobb.com.au does not guarantee recruitment outcomes.

If Jobb.com.au cancels a paid service without supplying the purchased service and the cancellation was not caused by your breach of these Terms, we will provide an appropriate refund, replacement credit or other remedy as required by applicable law.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refund or payment-dispute enquiries should first be sent to hi@jobb.com.au with the account email address and relevant order or transaction details. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable period.

14. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

For a major failure with a service, you may be entitled to cancel the service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value. You may also be entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Where a failure is not major, we are entitled to an opportunity to remedy the problem within a reasonable time where the Australian Consumer Law permits this.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Promotions and Discount Codes

Jobb.com.au may from time to time offer promotional pricing, discount codes, introductory offers or other promotions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions are not redeemable for cash, cannot be combined with other offers and apply only during the stated promotional period and subject to any eligibility requirements displayed with the promotion.

Specific promotional terms displayed at the time of an offer form part of these Terms.

16. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Jobb.com.au available and functioning but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available access.

The website or particular features may become unavailable due to maintenance, updates, hosting issues, security events, third-party outages, technical faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where paid services are materially affected by a failure for which we are responsible, any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

Jobb.com.au may contain links to employer websites, recruiter websites, application portals, payment processors, advertisers and other third-party services.

We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or accuracy except to the extent required by law.

18. User Content

Users may submit or upload job listings, company profiles, candidate profiles, resumes/CVs, messages, logos, images, descriptions, documents and other content.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Jobb.com.au a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute and process that content to the extent reasonably required to operate, provide, secure, promote and improve Jobb.com.au.

You confirm that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that doing so does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality or other legal rights.

19. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • post fake, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful job listings;
  • create fake candidate, employer, recruiter or company profiles;
  • send spam, scams, harassment, threats or abusive communications;
  • scrape, harvest, systematically download or misuse candidate data, employer data, job listings or website content;
  • contact candidates for unrelated marketing or non-recruitment purposes;
  • upload malware, viruses, malicious code or harmful files;
  • attempt to hack, overload, damage, reverse engineer or interfere with Jobb.com.au or its systems;
  • use the platform for unlawful, discriminatory, offensive, deceptive or fraudulent purposes;
  • misrepresent your identity, qualifications, business, authority, role or intentions;
  • circumvent, avoid or interfere with payment, listing or account restrictions;
  • copy, reproduce or republish protected website content without permission;
  • breach applicable Australian law; or
  • engage in conduct reasonably likely to harm Jobb.com.au, its users, reputation, security or operations.

20. Right to Reject, Remove or Suspend

Jobb.com.au may reject, hide, edit, suspend, restrict or remove a profile, listing, message, application, account or content where we reasonably believe this is necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, respond to complaints, protect users, address fraud or misuse, or protect the platform.

If a paid job listing is removed because the employer has breached these Terms or applicable law, the employer may not be entitled to a refund for the affected listing, subject always to rights and remedies that cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe a user has breached these Terms, misused the platform, created a risk to other users, supplied misleading information or acted unlawfully.

21. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Jobb.com.au name, branding, website layout, design, text, graphics, software, features and materials are owned by or licensed to the operator of Jobb.com.au.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, scrape, republish or commercially exploit protected Jobb.com.au materials without permission, except as permitted by law.

22. Privacy

Jobb.com.au collects and handles information including candidate information, employer information, contact details, resumes/CVs, profile information, application information, transaction information and website usage information.

Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using Jobb.com.au, you acknowledge that relevant information will be handled in accordance with that policy and applicable law.

When you apply for a job, contact an employer, create a profile or otherwise use recruitment features, relevant information may be shared with employers, recruiters or agencies for legitimate employment and recruitment purposes.

Payment card information submitted through a third-party payment provider such as Stripe is handled by that payment provider in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.

23. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect Jobb.com.au and information submitted through the platform. However, no website, online service, payment system, email service or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when sharing information, documents, contact details and employment-related information online.

24. Disclaimers

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobb.com.au and its operator, owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents and related parties exclude liability for loss or damage arising from matters outside their reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of other users or third-party services.

This may include loss relating to job listings, candidate profiles, recruitment decisions, employment decisions, false or misleading user information, scams, external websites, technical interruptions or third-party systems.

27. Reporting Misuse

If you believe a job listing, profile, message or other content is fake, misleading, unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, fraudulent, spam-related or otherwise inappropriate, contact us at hi@jobb.com.au.

We may investigate and take action that we reasonably consider appropriate, having regard to the circumstances and applicable law.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will be published on Jobb.com.au with an updated effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively. Where a change materially affects an existing paid purchase, we will respect any contractual or statutory rights that arose before the change unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
