Job Description

Pearl Home Care Sydney Inner West is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team. We provide high-quality in-home care services that support older Australians to remain independent, safe, and connected within their own homes and communities.

We are currently seeking Support Workers across the Sydney Inner West region. Applicants who are fluent in Arabic are strongly encouraged to apply, as we support a diverse client base and aim to provide culturally appropriate care.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of our clients by providing person-centred care and support tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

Personal care assistance, including showering, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping
Social support and community access
Transport assistance to appointments and community activities
Medication prompting (where applicable)
Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
Providing care in accordance with client care plans, policies, and procedures

Skill & Experience

Arabic language skills (highly regarded)
Previous experience in Home Care, Aged Care, Disability Support, or Community Care
Experience working with culturally diverse communities
