Job Description

Full-Time Cabinet Installer required

  • 2+ years’ experience required
  • Salary – $79499 – $85,000
  • Perth based

MCPBB Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabinet Installer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a full-time, Long-Term Stable Employment role where you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

  • Interpret job sheets, drawings and specifications to prepare for the manufacture and installation of custom cabinetry and joinery.
  • Measure, mark and prepare cabinets and joinery components for installation at residential and commercial sites.
  • Fabricate, modify and assemble cabinetry and timber joinery where required to ensure products meet installation specifications.
  • Install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, office fit-outs and other custom joinery at client sites.
  • Fit, adjust and secure cabinets, benchtops, doors, drawer systems, hinges, handles and associated hardware to achieve accurate alignment and finish.
  • Carry out on-site measurements, trimming and modifications to ensure cabinetry fits site conditions and design requirements.
  • Inspect cabinetry, materials and hardware for damage or defects before installation and rectify minor issues where required.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and woodworking equipment safely in accordance with workplace procedures.
  • Ensure completed installation work complies with company quality standards, project specifications and workplace safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers, production staff and clients to achieve functional and aesthetic project outcomes.

Skill & Experience

  • Proven experience as a cabinet maker and installer, preferably within the residential or commercial construction industry
  • Strong woodworking and cabinetry skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A driver’s license
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work safely
