Cold Store Operator
Full-time, ongoing · Virginia, SA
About us

4 Ways Fresh is an established horticultural production and fresh-produce enterpriseoperating at Virginia, SA, growing cucumbers, capsicums and other vegetables. We areseeking a reliable Cold Store Operator to operate our cold storage facilities and maintaincold-chain integrity at our Virginia operation.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities
• Operate cold store and coolroom facilities and monitor temperatures
• Move, store and rotate produce (FIFO) and assist with dispatch
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
• Record temperatures, stock movements and storage data
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and biosecurity standards
• Follow WHS requirements and report faults

Skill & Experience

About you
• Have at least a relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent; or 1 year of relevantwork experience to substitute the qualification
• Knowledge of cold-chain and food-safety requirements
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Able to work in cold-store conditions
• Reliable and safety-focused

Remuneration & hours
Guaranteed annual salary from $71550 p.a. plus superannuation. Full-time, based on a [46]-hour week — [38] ordinary hours plus approximately [8] hours overtime per week — with the guaranteed annual salary inclusive of overtime. Paid in accordance with the applicable Award; higher rates commensurate with skills and experience
