Machinery Supervisor

About us

We are an established horticultural production business based in Geraldton, Western Australia, growing and supplying high-quality Continental cucumbers, capsicum, and other fresh produce. We are seeking a Machinery Supervisor to supervise the operation and upkeep of farm machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Supervise the operation, servicing and repair of farm machinery, vehicles and equipment
Plan and coordinate machinery use, servicing schedules and preventive maintenance
Supervise and direct machinery operators and maintenance staff
Order and manage spare parts, consumables and equipment
Diagnose faults and coordinate response to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Maintain machinery, servicing and compliance records
Ensure machinery safety, WHS and operator compliance

Skill & Experience

About you

A relevant AQF Diploma (or equivalent), or at least 3 years’ experience as a Machinery Supervisor
Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural / horticultural machinery
Supervisory and team-coordination experience
Able to work outdoors across a range of conditions
Reliable and safety-focused

Remuneration & hours

Guaranteed annual salary from $71550 p.a. plus superannuation. Full-time, based on a [46]-hour week — [38] ordinary hours plus approximately [8] hours overtime per week — with the guaranteed annual salary inclusive of overtime. Paid in accordance with the applicable Award; higher rates commensurate with skills and experience
