Job Description

Salary Range: $75000.00 to 80,000.00 per annum plus superannuation

  • Install, service, repair and troubleshoot electromagnetic communication systems.
  • Configure, integrate and support telecommunications and network technologies with computer software, hardware, desktop systems, peripheral devices, databases and operating systems.
  • Maintain and update records relating to the location, condition and status of equipment, parts, instruments and inventory, and ensure communication policies, procedures, guidelines, regulatory requirements and quality standards are properly documented.
  • Provide technical guidance and information while monitoring the operation, performance and reliability of complex telecommunications networks and associated equipment.
  • Plan and coordinate the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure to meet network and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, service providers and other external stakeholders, while monitoring contractual requirements, service commitments and performance outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing operational and technical support for the design, optimisation, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repair and resolution of telecommunications network performance issues, defects and failures.

Skill & Experience

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar telecommunications or technical role is preferred, along with relevant qualifications or industry training.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and quality when performing technical tasks and maintaining records.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, while communicating and collaborating with colleagues.
