Position Title: Full-Time Accountant

 

Annual Salary: A$ 79,500 + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Prepare and maintaining accurate financial records and accounting information.
  • Perform bank, balance sheet, general ledger and other account reconciliations in accordance with internal policies.
  • Monitor and review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
  • Assist with preparation of financial and management reports for the CFO and senior management.
  • Analyse financial information, revenue, costs and expenses and identify significant variances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring.
  • Assist in providing relevant information to external service providers including financiers, external auditors & external accountants
  • Assist with maintaining and improving accounting processes, systems and internal financial controls.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide accounting information and analysis to support management decision-making.

Skill & Experience

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree qualification in Accounting
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory and preferably in FMCG industry
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Pronto (desirable)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Able to perform under pressure.
  • Good team player.
