We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our transport team in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across various locations. This position is vital for maintaining our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, safely and efficiently.
  • Transport goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
  • Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.

Skill & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required
  • Valid HC driver’s license.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a mid-senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
