As a Residential Care Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults to live with dignity, comfort and choice. You’ll deliver compassionate, person-centred care in a welcoming community, working alongside a dedicated team that truly values respect, inclusion and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Client Assessment & Support

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop tailored care plans that promote independence and quality of life.
Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting support strategies as needed and documenting outcomes for ongoing review.

Community Liaison & Advocacy

Identify gaps in local health, housing, and social services, and collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and private providers to improve access for clients.
Refer clients to specialist services – such as allied health, counselling, or financial aid – and maintain strong networks to ensure seamless support.

Program Development & Reporting

Design and implement educational and recreational programs that foster social engagement, skill development, and emotional wellbeing for residents.
Prepare funding submissions and detailed reports for government bodies and funding partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
