Full Time Sales and Marketing Manager

Location North Parramatta/Taren Point, NSW

Employment type Full time, permanent

Hours 38 ordinary hours per week

Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation

Position summary

The Sales and Marketing Manager plans, directs and coordinates all sales and marketing activity for Renovation Kingdom, a bathroom, kitchen and laundry products retailer with NSW showrooms and an online store. The role sets sales targets and marketing strategy, leads the sales and marketing staff, and is accountable for revenue growth, customer loyalty and brand reputation across showroom, trade and online channels.

Employment conditions

Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation at the Superannuation Guarantee rate
Four weeks’ paid annual leave and 10 days’ paid personal/carer’s leave per year, under the National Employment Standards

Key Responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual sales strategy; set and monitor sales targets for showroom, trade and online channels
Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies, including campaigns, pricing promotions and the digital marketing plan
Build and protect the Renovation Kingdom brand image and customer loyalty across all channels
Lead, recruit, train and manage the performance of sales and marketing staff
Manage the marketing budget and report sales performance, margins and campaign results to the Director / General Manager
Research market trends, competitors and customer needs to identify new product and growth opportunities
Build relationships with key trade customers, builders and suppliers; negotiate major sales and promotional agreements

Skill & Experience

Required skills

Proven ability to develop sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth
Leadership skills to manage, mentor and motivate a team
Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms and performance reporting
Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
Budget management and commercial analysis

Qualifications and experience

Education: Bachelor degree or higher in marketing, business, commerce or a related field, or at least five years of relevant experience in place of the degree
Experience: At least [2–3] years in a sales and/or marketing management role, preferably in retail, building products or home improvement
Software: CRM, digital marketing and eCommerce platforms, and Microsoft Office
Personal attributes: Clear communication, strong organisation and sound problem-solving
