Business Development Manager

Qualifications and experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, marketing, commerce or a related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience in business development, sales, marketing or commercial management.
• Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities.
• Experience negotiating commercial arrangements and managing supplier and business relationships.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret sales data, financial information and market trends.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and report directly to senior management.
• Experience in hospitality, food service or a related industry will be highly regarded.
