Our client, Richard Jolly Racing, is seeking two experienced Horse Trainers to join their team located in Morphettville SA 5043.

About Company

Richard Jolly Racing is a leading racing stable based in Morphettville SA 5043. Led by trainer Richard Jolly, it produces well-prepared, competitive racehorses. The stable is known for professionalism, quality horse care, and consistent success on the track.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and exercise racehorses to improve their fitness, speed, and overall performance.
  • Ride horses during daily trackwork, including slow and fast work, following set training programs.
  • Educate young and inexperienced horses, and correct behavioural issues to ensure safe handling.
  • Feed, groom, wash, and provide general daily care to maintain horse health and wellbeing.
  • Monitor horses for signs of injury, illness, or fatigue, and report concerns promptly.
  • Prepare, saddle, and handle horses for training sessions, trials, and race meetings.
  • Clean and maintain stables, yards, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Assist in supervising stable staff and support the smooth running of daily stable operations.

Skill & Experience

Relevant qualification or at least 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills and proven expertise in the relevant domain.
