The stable is recognised for producing successful racehorses and maintaining a strong focus on horse welfare, professional training, and racing performance.

Key Responsibilities

Horse Health & Well-being: Work closely with veterinarians to monitor and maintain the health, fitness, and overall well-being of horses.
Training & Performance Development: Conduct groundwork training to enhance a horse’s manners, behaviour, and performance under saddle.
Custom Exercise Plans: Design individualised training schedules tailored to each horse’s specific needs and goals.
Competition & Work Preparation: Condition horses physically and mentally for racing, competition, employment, or leisure activities.
Rider & Trainee Education: Train and educate riders and stable trainees on proper horse care, handling, and training techniques.
Behavioural Training: Identify and address behavioural challenges using effective and humane training methods.
Stable Management & Care: Collaborate with stable staff to manage daily feeding, cleaning, and general horse care routines.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, diet plans, and veterinary care.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards.
