Qualified Carpenters (Chippies)

We’re also seeking skilled carpenters who take pride in their workmanship and enjoy working as part of a team. Get out of the sun this summer & work under cover at our fully covered facility.

Requirements: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification

Must have own tools, current White Card, driver’s licence essential

Minimum 2-3 years building industry experience, current White Card.

Key Responsibilities

Complete carpentry work on portable and modular buildings.
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
Construct and install timber wall frames, flooring and roof components.
Install doors, windows, cabinetry, skirting, architraves and internal fittings.
Measure, cut and assemble materials accurately and efficiently.
Complete internal and external finishing work to a high standard.
Inspect completed work and rectify defects where required.
Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain equipment appropriately.
Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet production deadlines.

Skill & Experience

Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent recognised trade qualification.
Proven experience in residential, commercial or modular construction.
Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality finishes.
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
