Chemical Plant Operator

Parwan Protein & Tallow Pty Ltd  is seeking an experienced and reliable Chemical Plant Operator to join our rendering and processing operations.

This is a full-time position suited to a candidate with practical experience operating industrial processing equipment, monitoring plant performance and maintaining safe and efficient production processes.

Position details

Employment type: Full-time
Salary: AUD $79,500 per annum before tax
Superannuation: Paid in addition to the annual salary
Experience required: At least 1 year of relevant work experience

Skills and experience

Applicants must have:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a chemical plant operator, rendering plant operator, process plant operator or in a comparable industrial-processing role.
• Experience operating and monitoring industrial production or processing equipment.
• The ability to understand plant readings, process conditions and operating procedures.
• The ability to identify equipment faults, blockages and abnormal process conditions.
• Strong workplace health and safety awareness.
• Good record-keeping and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• The physical capacity to work in an industrial plant environment and perform operational duties safely.
