Cold Store Manager

Full-time, ongoing · Geraldton, Western Australia

About us

We are an established horticultural production business based in Geraldton, Western Australia, growing and supplying high-quality Continental cucumbers, capsicum, and other fresh produce. We are seeking a Cold Store Manager to manage cold-storage operations.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day cold storage and coolroom operations
Monitor and control temperature, humidity and storage conditions to preserve produce
Oversee intake, stock rotation, storage and dispatch of produce
Maintain cold-chain, storage and food-safety records and compliance
Coordinate and supervise cold-store staff and workflow
Arrange maintenance and calibration of refrigeration and handling equipment
Ensure WHS, hygiene and biosecurity standards are met

Skill & Experience

About you

A relevant AQF Diploma (or equivalent), or at least 3 years’ experience as a Cold Store / Cold Storage Manager
Knowledge of cold-chain, storage and food-safety practices
Organisational and team-supervision skills
Able to work across a range of conditions
Reliable and safety-focused

Remuneration & hours

Guaranteed annual salary from $71550 p.a. plus superannuation. Full-time, based on a [46]-hour week — [38] ordinary hours plus approximately [8] hours overtime per week — with the guaranteed annual salary inclusive of overtime. Paid in accordance with the applicable Award; higher rates commensurate with skills and experience
