Henry & Co Dandenong Hospital Cafe is a well-known cafe and catering business located within Dandenong Hospital in Dandenong VIC. The cafe provides fresh coffee, meals, snacks and catering services for hospital staff, visitors and the local community, with a focus on quality food and friendly customer service.

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Preparing, seasoning and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with menu requirements.
  • Assisting in planning menus and estimating food and labour costs.
  • Monitoring food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Checking the quality of raw ingredients and managing stock rotation and storage.
  • Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assisting with ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, work areas and equipment at all times.
  • Working effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during busy periods.
  • Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
