Job Description

We are a progressive family run Dairy farm in the Kiewa Valley, we are taking time to find the perfect fit to join our business

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in all aspects of dairy farm operations, including:

  • Milking and dairy shed operations – well maintained 20 aside swing over with ACR, auto draft, easy dairy cow collars
  • Monitoring and maintaining cow and calf health
  • Feeding livestock, paddock rotation
  • General farm maintenance and upkeep
  • Safe and efficient use of machinery and equipment

 

Skill & Experience

Key Requirements

  • Previous dairy farming experience (essential)
  • Competency in tractor driving and operationg feeding implements
  • Good understanding of animal welfare and farm practices
  • Physically and capable of manual work
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong team work skills

  • Reliable and hardworking individual
  • Self motivated with good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
