Description Of The Role

Experienced Data Solution Architect with expertise in designing enterprise data architectures, data models, and governance frameworks using Microsoft data technologies. Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and solution architects to design scalable, secure, and well-governed data platforms that support analytics, AI, and reporting initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Design
• Analyze business and information requirements to design enterprise data architectures and data solutions.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting business, analytics, AI, and reporting requirements.
• Design and govern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Microsoft Purview.

Data Governance & Management
• Define data standards, governance frameworks, master data management, and data quality practices.
• Establish data cataloguing, metadata management, and data lifecycle management processes.
• Ensure data assets are secure, reliable, accessible, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Integration & Data Platforms
• Define data integration, storage, and information management approaches across enterprise systems.
• Design and support real-time and event-driven data architectures using IoT, Event Hub, and Kafka technologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of data solutions.
• Provide guidance on data architecture standards, best practices, and governance requirements.

Skill & Experience

Specific Skills, Qualifications, And Experience Required For The Position

Experience: 7–10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Management.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Microsoft Purview.
• Data Management Expertise: Experience in data modelling, data governance, master data management, data quality, and data cataloguing.
• Integration & Streaming: Experience with IoT, Event Hub, Kafka, and enterprise data integration solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
• Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex data requirements and design scalable enterprise data solutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data, or related certifications.

Good to Have
• Experience in electricity transmission, asset management, ESG, or major construction projects.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and analytics platforms.
