Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Vinyl Floor Covering Installer to join our FIFO team.

This role involves the installation and finishing of commercial vinyl flooring systems across a variety of project environments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring outcomes, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves the installation and finishing of commercial vinyl flooring systems across a variety of project environments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring outcomes, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.

Skill & Experience

Requirements for all applicants:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial vinyl flooring installation.
  • Proven experience installing commercial sheet vinyl, safety flooring, and wet area flooring systems.
  • Strong capability in floor preparation, including grinding, patching, and the use of levelling compounds.
  • Experience with coving, detailing internal and external corners, and hot and cold weld processes.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and calculate material requirements.
  • Strong understanding of quality workmanship and industry best practices.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and site compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and within remote FIFO environments.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical assessments and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Valid Australian working rights (citizen, resident, or appropriate visa).

  • Carpet tiles and broadloom carpet installation.
