Position Overview
The role involves providing specialised hair services, managing client relationships, and delivering high-standard styling outcomes tailored to individual preferences.
Key Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Engage with clients to assess their hair needs and recommend suitable styles and treatments
• Cleanse, nourish, and treat hair and scalp using appropriate professional products
• Execute precise haircuts and reshaping techniques tailored to client features and expectations
• Carry out advanced colouring services including customised shades, highlights, and corrective applications
• Administer chemical processes such as smoothing, perming, and reconditioning treatments safely
• Design and create contemporary hairstyles including formal looks, braids, and extended styles
• Provide grooming services including beard shaping and maintenance
• Guide clients on aftercare routines and recommend suitable haircare products
• Ensure all equipment and work areas meet strict hygiene and sanitation standards
• Organise bookings, maintain accurate client histories, and coordinate service schedules
• Handle billing transactions and ensure a positive customer experience
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain service quality and efficiency
• Deliver styling services for wigs, extensions, and hairpieces when required
Skill & Experience
Qualifications
• Diploma in Salon Management or Hairdressing (Recommended)
• Certificate III in Hairdressing (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (desirable)
Experience
More than 6 years of professional experience in hairdressing services
Skills
• Proficiency in haircutting, colouring, and styling techniques
• Sound understanding of hair treatments and chemical applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
