Horticulture Farm Manager

About us

4 Ways Fresh is an established horticultural production and fresh-produce enterprise operating at Geraldton, WA · Virginia, SA, growing cucumbers, capsicums and other vegetables. We are seeking an experienced Horticulture Farm Manager to manage the overall running of our horticultural operation.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Manage overall farm operations and production planning
Set and monitor production targets and quality standards
Manage staff, rosters, training and performance
Oversee budgets, inputs, resources and suppliers
Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, biosecurity and chemical requirements
Maintain records and report on production and operations

Skill & Experience

About you

A relevant AQF Certificate III or IV (or equivalent); or 3 years’ experience as a Horticulture Farm Manager with relevant formal training; or 5 years’ experience with no formal training
Farm or production management experience
Planning, budgeting and leadership skills
Sound knowledge of horticulture and compliance
Reliable, organised and results-focused

Remuneration & hours

Guaranteed annual salary from $71550 p.a. plus superannuation. Full-time, based on a [46]-hour week — [38] ordinary hours plus approximately [8] hours overtime per week — with the guaranteed annual salary inclusive of overtime. Paid in accordance with the applicable Award; higher rates commensurate with skills and experience
