Job Description

SEC PLATING PTY LTD is an Australian-owned company established in 1947, specialising in electroplating and industrial coating services for customers across Australia and internationally. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Electroplating, to support the design, optimisation, maintenance and continuous improvement of our specialised manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for electroplating and industrial coating processes.

Design and improvement of plating plant, equipment and process systems.
Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee installation, commissioning and maintenance of production equipment.
Analyse production processes and implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
Assist with quality, safety and environmental compliance requirements.

Skill & Experience

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, electroplating, surface finishing or industrial coatings is highly regarded.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and project management skills.
Familiarity with quality systems and engineering standards.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.
