Metal Fabricator/Welder

Now Hiring – Full-Time Metal Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Metal Fabricator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
• Cut, fabricate and assemble structural steel components.
• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW and Stick welding.
• Grind, finish and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards.
• Repair and modify metal structures as required.
• Safely operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time post-qualification experience (or equivalent) in structural steel fabrication or heavy metal fabrication.
• Experience in workshop fabrication and structural steel assembly is preferred.
• Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings and fabrication schedules.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe workplace.

Position: Full-Time (38 hours per week)
