About us

4 Ways Fresh is an established horticultural production and fresh-produce enterprise operating at Geraldton, WA · Virginia, SA, growing cucumbers, capsicums and other vegetables. We are seeking an experienced Nurseryperson to propagate and care for plants and support our nursery production

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Propagate plants from seed, cuttings and tissue culture
Pot, transplant, prune and train plants
Monitor plant health and apply pest, disease and nutrition programs
Maintain greenhouse growing conditions (watering, ventilation, temperature)
Grade, prepare and dispatch plants and produce
Maintain nursery hygiene and biosecurity standards

Skill & Experience

About you

Relevant AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
Attention to detail and quality
Able to work outdoors and in greenhouse conditions
Reliable and safety-focused

Remuneration & hours

Guaranteed annual salary from $71550 p.a. plus superannuation. Full-time, based on a [46]-hour week — [38] ordinary hours plus approximately [8] hours overtime per week — with the guaranteed annual salary inclusive of overtime. Paid in accordance with the applicable Award; higher rates commensurate with skills and experience
