Job Description

Restaurant Manager – Full Time

The Terrace Hotel – Perth, WA

The Terrace Hotel is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This is a hands-on management role requiring a strong leader with excellent operational, customer service and team management skills.

Availability

This position requires you to work the operational needs of the business, including:

Wednesday to Sunday
Lunch and dinner service
Weekends and public holidays

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation

Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day restaurant operation.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team.
Deliver exceptional customer service standards.
Manage staff rosters and labour costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety and liquor licensing legislation.
Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain food and service standards.
Manage reservations, guest enquiries and complaints.
Monitor stock levels and ordering.
Maintain presentation and cleanliness throughout the venue.

Skill & Experience

Please do not apply unless you meet ALL of the following essential criteria:

Minimum 3 years’ recent experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar senior hospitality management position.
Relevant hospitality qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or higher in Hospitality or Hospitality Management).
Current WA Approved Manager Card (Red Card). Applications without a current Approved Manager Card will not be considered.
Current FoodSafe Food Handler certificate.
Strong understanding of WA liquor licensing legislation and responsible service of alcohol.
Experience managing busy table-service restaurants.
Proven leadership experience including staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance management.
Experience with restaurant reservation systems, POS systems and cash reconciliation.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make operational decisions.
Current unrestricted Australian working rights or eligibility to work in Australia.
