Roofer

  • Full-time position
  • 40 hours per week (7.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  • Installation of metal insulated panel roofing and wall panels
  • Installation of traditional metal roofing and wall cladding
  • Installation of rainwater goods and their components (ie, gutters, downpipes, sumps and all required brackets and fixings)
  • Installation of roof services (ie, ducts and roof ventilators)
  • Installation of various flashings and capping’s
  • Undertaking work at heights with use of safety equipment and PPE at all times
  • Use of power and hand tools including hand and power operated saws, and measuring equipment, with the use of elevated work platforms required

Skill & Experience

Successful applicants would have:

  • Relevant trade qualifications and certificates (preferable, but not mandatory)
  • Relevant 3 years of work experience in lieu of formal qualifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • White card
  • Working at heights ticket
  • EWP License (11m and over preferable)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in installing insulated panels preferred
