Key Responsibilities

Organising, directing, and controlling the overall operations of the retail business to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
Monitoring stock levels, managing inventory, and ensuring the availability of products while maintaining high customer service standards.
Formulating and implementing purchasing, merchandising, and marketing strategies to maximise sales and business growth.
Establishing and reviewing pricing strategies to remain competitive and meet business objectives.
Promoting and advertising the business’s goods and services to increase customer engagement and revenue.
Selling goods and services to customers and providing advice regarding product selection and usage.
Maintaining accurate records relating to stock control, sales, and business operations.
Assisting with budgeting activities and monitoring the financial performance of the business.
Recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervising staff members to ensure efficient workplace performance.
Preparing employee rosters, allocating duties, and managing staffing requirements.
Providing induction and ongoing training to new employees and monitoring their progress.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and operational procedures.
Supervising daily store operations, resolving operational issues, and maintaining service quality standards.

Skill & Experience

Certificate IV (or higher) in Retail Management, Business, Management, or a related field.

At least 3 years of relevant retail management experience, including overseeing daily store operations, supervising staff, managing inventory levels, maintaining customer service standards, and supporting sales and business performance goals.
