Household & Environmental Duties

  • Make beds, ensure fresh linen is available, store clothing neatly, and correctly return laundered items to each resident’s room.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised living space, following Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, GPs, allied health professionals, and behaviour support practitioners to ensure coordinated, courteous service.
  • Uphold residents’ rights to privacy, confidentiality, choice, and decision-making, supporting compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and company policies.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and identify personal learning needs to support continuous improvement.

Workplace Safety & Rights

  • Recognise and report potential risks, complaints, or incidents; follow all OH&S policies to maintain a safe environment for yourself, team, and residents.
  • Demonstrate Equal Employment Opportunity principles and champion all organizational policies, ensuring a respectful, harassment-free workplace.

  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Individual Support, Community Services, or Nursing.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (within 5 years) – preferable.
  • Satisfactory police check, valid driver’s licence, and own reliable transport.
  • Up-to-date annual flu vaccination and full COVID-19 immunisation (with signed statutory declaration regarding overseas criminal history if required).
  • Genuine team player with a commitment to long-term employment and person-centred values.
