Key Responsibilities

Supervising and checking the daily work of housekeeping staff.
Ensuring staff meet daily cleaning targets and rooms are ready on time for new guests.
Inspecting rooms to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained.
Releasing clean rooms for guest check-ins.
Handling guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
Monitoring the proper disposal of laundry and waste.
Overseeing the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
Assigning rooms and duties to housekeeping staff.
Ensuring guest requests and special cleaning needs are attended to promptly.
Providing training and support to housekeeping staff when required.
Preparing staff schedules to meet operational requirements.
Coordinating with maintenance and front office teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, and manual handling procedures.
Managing staff rosters and monitoring labor costs within budget.

Skill & Experience

Relevant hospitality supervisory experience with AQF Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or a related field, with strong skills in staff supervision, customer service and daily operations.
