Darwin Motor Group is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team in Darwin.

Position Criteria

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and maintain high customer service standards across the service department.
  • Build strong customer relationships and support customer retention.
  • Handle complex enquiries, complaints and service-related concerns.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement service improvements.
  • Communicate repair requirements, pricing, quotations and service timeframes clearly.
  • Assist with service estimates and automotive repair quotations.
  • Coordinate with service advisors, technicians and workshop staff.
  • Maintain quality processes and ensure work aligns with dealership standards.
  • Support recruitment, induction, supervision and development of staff.
  • Lead team members, provide feedback and assist with conflict resolution.
  • Contribute to operational planning, budgets, financial controls and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery and business processes.
  • Maintain accurate customer and operational records.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and safe workplace practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service management, service management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Automotive dealership or service department experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership, communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage complaints and complex customer issues professionally.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial awareness, including pricing, budgets and cost control.
  • Relevant qualification in business, management, customer service or a related field is desirable.
