Salary range:                   $79,500 – $85,000 – depending on skills level and work experience + superannuation.

Our client is a highly respected aged care provider in the Port Broughton region, known for person-centred care and modern, homelike facilities. We are seeking a full-time Enrolled Nurse to join their dedicated team. This role offers long-term stability in a well-resourced facility that values staff. You will provide hands-on clinical and personal care, foster meaningful resident connections, and work within a collaborative team. The position includes ongoing training and professional development to support your growth in the aged care sector.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in assessing, planning, and implementing resident care under RN supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols.
• Monitor and document health status, reporting changes to the RN.
• Perform wound care, catheter management, and other clinical interventions.
• Support residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, mobility, feeding).
• Uphold person-centred care respecting dignity and preferences.
• Engage residents in social activities to enhance wellbeing.
• Provide emotional support to residents and families.
• Adhere to infection control, WHS, and aged care quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation in care records.
• Follow facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in handovers, meetings, and training.
• Mentor less experienced care staff as needed.

Skill & Experience

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
• Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as an EN.
• Minimum 1 year aged care/dementia care experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration and chronic disease management.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening.
• Annual flu vaccination and full COVID-19 immunisation compliance.

Desirable:
• Palliative care and complex health needs experience.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (e.g., iCare, MHR).
• Thrives in a team environment and seeks long-term employment.
