Full Time Automotive Light Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities and Duties

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Tyre fitment and wheel balancing.
• Wheel alignments.
• Minor electrical diagnosis and repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools and software and be able to report/repair faults.
• Carry out minor and major brake repairs including overhauling systems.
• Maintain safe work environment and keep up to date with latest laws and regulations.
• Report to office manager with work/notes carried out on vehicles and be able to give feedback.
• Road testing vehicles for faults and reporting back to workshop manager and head mechanic.
• Keeping workshop clean and tidy and daily checks of vehicle hoists and tools.
